FAQ

Straight answers before you fly.

The questions travelers ask most about planning a trip in Mexico, arriving in Mexico City, and what Arrive Mexico actually does.

Can you plan a trip anywhere in Mexico?

You choose the destination and we plan around it — popular requests include Mexico City, Cancún and the Riviera Maya, Tulum, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Oaxaca, San Miguel de Allende and Mérida, and you can name somewhere else. Every destination is a planning request; stays and experiences are confirmed based on local availability for your dates.

What is included in a custom trip?

Your proposal lists exactly what's included; flights, meals, drinks and activities are included only when specified. Depending on what you ask for, that can cover stays, airport pickup, private transportation, excursions, dining reservations and local coordination during the trip.

Is the budget per person?

No. The budget on the trip request is the approximate total for your whole party and the whole trip. USD is the default and you can enter it in Mexican pesos instead.

Do you book flights or all-inclusive resorts?

You can ask for flight assistance and choose whether flights should be part of your proposal. All-inclusive resorts can be requested too. A trip is not all-inclusive unless your proposal says so.

Is anything booked when I send a trip request?

No. Sending the form saves your request so we can prepare a tailored itinerary and quote by email. Nothing is booked until you review and approve the proposal.

How do I get picked up at Mexico City Airport?

Before you travel we send you your driver's name, photo, vehicle, and phone number, plus the exact meeting point for your terminal at MEX. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall and greets you with a sign, then walks you to the vehicle.

Will my driver speak English?

Your coordination and concierge support is always in English. English-speaking drivers can be requested and are standard on Executive Arrival; when a driver speaks limited English, we stay in contact with you throughout the pickup.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We monitor your flight and adjust the pickup time. Delays, gate changes, and long immigration lines are expected — your driver waits, and there is no scramble to rebook.

Can I book before arriving in Mexico?

Yes, and that is the point. Most travelers arrange everything days or weeks before departure through the quote form, with a fixed quote confirmed before travel.

I already live in Mexico City. Can I use Arrive Mexico?

Yes. Expats, remote workers, executives, and long-term visitors use us for everyday logistics: transportation, errands, appointments, service providers, translation coordination, reservations, and general help navigating life in CDMX. Our Monthly Expat Concierge is built for exactly that.

Can you help me get set up after I move here?

Yes. Settling-In Support covers apartment or hotel check-in coordination, grocery stocking, SIM/phone setup, internet and utilities coordination, local transportation, service-provider coordination, and local orientation.

Can you take me to an Airbnb or hotel?

Yes. We handle hotels, serviced apartments, Airbnb properties, offices, and private residences, and we can help coordinate check-in details or host communication on arrival.

Can we stop at a grocery store or pharmacy?

Yes. A supermarket or pharmacy stop is a common add-on after landing, especially for families and longer stays. Tell us in advance and we build it into the route.

Can you help with immigration or residency resources?

We help you connect with appropriate local resources for immigration questions, residency processes, relocation services, and document needs. Arrive Mexico is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation, and we do not complete government processes on your behalf.

Can you arrange transportation during my stay?

Yes. Prearranged private transportation for meetings, dinners, day trips, and return airport transfers can be scheduled by the trip, by the day, or for a full itinerary.

Can you help corporate travelers and groups?

Yes. We support companies sending employees, executives, and teams to Mexico City, including multi-arrival coordination, dedicated support contacts, relocation coordination, and larger vehicles.

Can my company receive an invoice?

Yes. Consolidated invoicing is available for corporate accounts, including per-traveler or per-project breakdowns.

How do I reach you?

Send a request through the quote form or email hello@arrivemexico.com. A dedicated business WhatsApp line is coming, and it will become the main day-to-day channel once it is live.

Is this the same thing as Uber?

No. Uber is an on-demand app with an unknown driver and no accountability once the ride ends. Arrive Mexico is a prearranged service with a vetted driver, a fixed quote, flight monitoring, and one English-speaking local contact who stays with you from before you land through getting settled — and afterwards, if you live here.

Still have a question?

Send it through the quote form or email us. You'll get an answer from an English-speaking local contact, not a chatbot.
